Lightning Protection Engineer (Testing and Inspection, Maintenance)

Let’s be honest—some electrical roles are dull. This isn’t one of those. We’re looking for a Lightning Protection Engineer who enjoys standing on rooftops (safely!), crafting systems that stop lightning in its tracks, and knowing that what you build actually matters.
We’re PTSG’s specialist lightning team—experts in lightning protection, earthing systems, and surge-safe structures. We mix skill, precision, and modern kit so projects run smoothly and safely.

What the day-to-day really looks like:
- Installing and upgrading lightning protection and earthing systems
- Working at height (safely, with all required PPE)
- Completing reports, risk assessments, and timesheets
- Talking shop with clients and project managers
Who we need (aka: you):
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Lightning Conductor Engineering
- CSCS card + full UK driving licence
- Bonus if you’ve got IPAF, SSSTS, or PASMA, but not essential
- Experience installing, testing, or maintaining lightning protection systems
- Safety-first mindset and strong communication
